What is AISI 2205?

AISI 2205 is the most common duplex alloy which contains 22% chromium and 5% nickel.

Application

Duplex stainless steel for general use, mainly in the petrochemical industry.

While engineers will often look for the cheapest material they can use, I took a different approach to material's selection to help newbie students.
