Group Number Zirconium (Zr) (& Color, Uses ... rev. 2022

All atoms have a group name assigned, even Zirconium. Ok but how do we know what is the group name for an atom of Zr?

If we know the symbol, let's say Zr, we may then open any periodic table and search for Zirconium. Any decent periodic table should have the group numbers when you scroll up starting from the element you found.

In the case of Zirconium the group number is 4. There is a lot of cool stuff about Zirconium that people simply don't know. Why not stick around for a bit?
