Group Number Yttrium (Y) (& Color, Uses ... 2022

All atoms have a group name assigned, even Yttrium. Ok but how do we know what is the group name for an atom of Y?

If we know the symbol, let's say Y, we may then open any periodic table and search for Yttrium. Any decent periodic table should have the group numbers when you scroll up starting from the element you found.
