Group Number Germanium (Ge) (& Color, Uses ... rev. 2022

All atoms have a group name assigned, even Germanium. Ok but how do we know what is the group name for an atom of Ge?

If we know the symbol, let's say Ge, we may then open any periodic table and search for Germanium. Any decent periodic table should have the group numbers when you scroll up starting from the element you found.
