Group Number Dysprosium (Dy) (& Color, Uses ... 2022

All atoms have a group name assigned, even Dysprosium. Ok but how do we know what is the group name for an atom of Dy?

If we know the symbol, let's say Dy, we may then open any periodic table and search for Dysprosium. Any decent periodic table should have the group numbers when you scroll up starting from the element you found.
