Every atom has a symbol and some are easy to figure out. Especially if you already know its name.
But what do you do when you only know its atomic number? Like... what is the atom symbol whose atomic number is 56?
The answer is Barium (Ba). However there are a lot of interesting facts about Barium that people don't know. Let me show you:

Barium Overview
Atomic Symbol
Ba (Barium)
Description
Soft, slightly malleable, silvery-white metal.
Sources
Found in barytine (BaSO4) and witherite (BaCO3), never found in pure form due to its reactivity. Must be stored under kerosene to remain pure.

State at 20 °C
Solid
Uses
Barite, or barium sulfate (BaSO4), when ground is used as a filter for rubber, plastics, and resins. It is insoluable in water and so is used in X-rays of the digestive system. Barium nitrate, Ba(NO3)2, burns brilliant green and is used in fireworks.
