All atoms have an atomic number. But what is the chemical element that has 55 as atomic number?
The answer is Cesium and there is so much cool stuff about Cesium that people don't know that I would keep reading if I were you.
Alright now to the facts!

Uses
Used as a 'getter' to remove air traces in vacuum and cathode-ray tubes. Also used in producing photoelectric devices and atomic clocks. Since it ionizes readily, it is used as an ion rocket motor propellant.
