Definition
The density of urine is the weight of urine per its volume.Formula
ρ = m / V
- ρ: Density
- m: mass
- V: Volume
Density vs Specific Weight vs Specific Gravity
I would like to point out that there are conceptual differences between density, specific weight and specific gravity. Follow the link if you want to learn more about these differences.With that said, this page will provide you the urine density in kg/m³ (SI unit), g/cm³, g/ml, kg/l, lb/ft³.
Density of Urine
Normal urine density may vary from 1005 to 1035 kg/m³.
Considering 1020 kg/m³ in other units:
𝛒 = 1.02 g/cm³
𝛒 = 1.02 g/ml
𝛒 = 1020 g/L
𝛒 = 1020 g/L
𝛒 = 63.68 lb/ft³
